What is the best way to talk about difficult things? How to translate those sensitive topics to a younger audience? Our answer is obvious – through animated stories. We worked closely with DEAR DIARY team and experimented with the visual style, format and colours. We had to create a new world from the scratch, make it unique and easily recognisable – and we had to achieve all this while answering the main question: is it something young audience will watch and relate to? That’s when the decision to opt for videos like personal stories made by others – not perfect, not looking too professional, but very real. The result – nearly half a hundred stories and a few million views on YouTube – a space for young people to hear these topics and talk about the things they care about.
